Okay so a day or so ago I was a Powell's and was in the 'young adult' fantasy section looking for a book called Bitterblue (I'm reading it now, it's amazing by the way!). Over the intercom a lady said that the store was closing in 5 minutes and right after that a boy, who looked like he was a bit younger than me, and his mom walked into the same section as I was. He stood right next to me and scanned the wall of books for what he was looking for. Can you guys guess what it was? The Lightning Thief! He took it off the shelf and asked his mom if he could get it. It kind of went like this:
She was like "well honey, I don't know, do you really want this book? The store is closing."
He was really sure, "Mom I really do! Pretty please?"
Now I'm a on the shy side so normally I would never talk to people I didn't know, but this was the Percy Jackson books we're taking about here! I had to say something!
I put my two cents in and said, "You know, that is my FAVORITE book of all time, I mean it's even on sale right now, absolutely worth the money!"
The mom looked at me for a moment the let out this big dramatic sigh and said, "Alright, alright"
This boy gave me the biggest smile ever, he was SO happy! he said thanks at least ten times and, man, I feel like I just saved a life or sometime! Maybe it's totally lame that this happened a few days ago and I still feel awesome, but I really don't care.

First Finals Coming...Some Tags Instead?
I really shouldn't be doing this, because my finals are coming up really soon, but it's a Saturday, and you can't say no to procrastination on a Saturday, am I right? ha ha, okay, so I got tagged a few times in the last week! High School, Drawing, Life update?
Okay guys, first I got to say I'm sorry that I haven't been and won't be updating as much because of the new school year. On top of that I'm having so problems with my computer so I can't be on DA as much, but I won't disappear I promise!
Speaking of the new school year, it's my first year of high school! That's right I'm a tiny little freshman. I've got a bit more on my plate this year so I hope you guys don't mind me being away more often. School started two weeks ago for me.:) The school is really big, I think it's about 3k kids this year and classes are pretty packed. Commisions and Request!
Alright guys! Thanks for those who gave me feedback on what I should do for request or commissions. I'm going to do both! This is going to be how it works. There's 4 slots for request, It's first come first serve so if you want a request act fast! :) Commissions will work just like most. I will try to work fast, but commissions will be first priority!

Summer! Commissions? Reqests?
hey guys! :) I haven't updated this journal in a while and guess what? It's summer (well, at least it is were in the states)! School is out for me, which means I'm dangling in between 8th and 9th grade. That means high school next year! I'm kinda scared about it, but I'm sure it will be fine :) .... right? ha ha, but it's a little early to think about that. ^^;
Now that I've got way more free time I really wanted to do something like commissions, what do you guys think? For those who don't know commissions is someone paying another to draw them something. I really want to do this, but I'm not sure if ill have any takers. If I do they'll pro

Hehehe.... I know how you feel. I remember recommending the PJ books to some of my buds who never really read and they loved it (maybe even more than I do).
